The Humane Society of the United States is currently assisting with the seizure of 2220 horses in Nebraska. It is deploying its NDART volunteers. (If you are an NDART volunteer you will have received a mobbilization email.) The horses are up for adoption, so it appears that HSUS will care for these horses while they await rescue/adoption or transfer. Best Friends Rapid Response members have been contacted to assist HSUS.
